Lately-

 I know!
My posts are few and far between.
I post frequently to Facebook and Instagram (daily).
If you want to see what I've been up to, you can find me there by using
TheCookieCornerAZ

Sorry.

Here's whats been going on in my kitchen--
I took some time off after Easter because I cranked out soooooooo
many Easter cookies that I needed some time off to just do FAMILY stuff.

Gender Reveal
these were to announce to coworkers what she's having.
A BOY!

I bought a plain white frosted cake and added the decor.
I love doing this!
Someday I'd love to be a cake decorator (I don't want to bake them).
The above "casino" cookies were for a young fella turning 80.
He enjoys spending time at the casino.

Just some fun springy cookies.

These were for a young lady who turned 17.
She's a swimmer, a dancer, and iphone lover!

That's all!
Please check me out on Facebook or Instagram.

Letters

I have a thing for words and letters.
I think words have so much power and meaning.
I also think the font you choose for a project really sets the tone.

so...
I ABSOLUTELY love letter cookie cutters.
My favorite font is called 'typewriter'.
I am in love with this new letter set from Cakes by Ximena (online)
I have a feeling I'm going to get a lot of use out of these cutters!

Platters- Platters- Platters- OH MY!

Love the "sweetness" of this baptism platter.
Simple. Perfect for a baby girl.

This was for a Peter Pan birthday party.
LOVE the feather!

For a dad who is crazy about Star Wars!

These cute little giraffe matched the paper goods used at the baby shower!

These "FALL" cookies were for a sweet little guy turning one!
My fav- the scarecrow!

I rarely do "risque" cookies and these were fun to do!

Minis- My Heart Is Full!

Believe it or not,
ALL of these minis went out in one day!
I love it when that happens!
I heart minis!

I'm so sad because I forgot to take a pic of another mini "teaparty"
set that went out on this day too!  It was soo cute!

I can never get enough elephants!

These go with the larger cookies below.
I love this color combo!

Petal Cutter

I've always wanted a petal cutter and finally had one made
I think this cutter would be great for a spring flower too!
I had it made over at Truly Mad Plastics.
Have I told you how much I LOVE that business?

Color Choice

The color applied to a set of cookies can make all the difference in the world.
The first set was for a little girl turning two.
The theme was UNDER THE SEA and the color palette was calm, soft colors.

This set was for a sweet girl turning two as well.
Their theme was THE LITTLE MERMAID and their color palette
was bold, bright colors.

So pretty much the same shapes
just different colors.

Doc McStuffins--my style

You know this cutie?
She's a character on the Disney show Doc McStuffins.
Since I do not do "character" cookies, I decided to look at the paper goods for inspiration.
While I did not create any cookies with characters, I did manage to coordinate with some of the other items that caught my eye.

I think they came out perfect!
So did the birthday girl!
