Most minis and medium size cookies look great

on top of a cupcake. 

The best part is--

you can make or buy cupcakes for a VERY reasonable price

Just add a little bit of color with a cute cookie.

PS- The cupcakes in this picture were purchased at a local grocery store (3 for $1 UN-frosted)

I also bought a little container of buttercream  from the bakery as well ($1.99) because I wanted to add the frosting myself.

 So...9 cupcakes and frosting $5.00

The color applied to a set of cookies can make all the difference in the world.

The first set was for a little girl turning two. 

The theme was UNDER THE SEA and the color palette was calm, soft colors.

 

This set was for a sweet girl turning two as well.

Their theme was THE LITTLE MERMAID and their color palette 

was bold, bright colors.

So pretty much the same shapes

just different colors.
