Lately-

 I know!
My posts are few and far between.
I post frequently to Facebook and Instagram (daily).
If you want to see what I've been up to, you can find me there by using
TheCookieCornerAZ

Sorry.

Here's whats been going on in my kitchen--
I took some time off after Easter because I cranked out soooooooo
many Easter cookies that I needed some time off to just do FAMILY stuff.

Gender Reveal
these were to announce to coworkers what she's having.
A BOY!

I bought a plain white frosted cake and added the decor.
I love doing this!
Someday I'd love to be a cake decorator (I don't want to bake them).
The above "casino" cookies were for a young fella turning 80.
He enjoys spending time at the casino.

Just some fun springy cookies.

These were for a young lady who turned 17.
She's a swimmer, a dancer, and iphone lover!

That's all!
Please check me out on Facebook or Instagram.

Doc McStuffins--my style

You know this cutie?
She's a character on the Disney show Doc McStuffins.
Since I do not do "character" cookies, I decided to look at the paper goods for inspiration.
While I did not create any cookies with characters, I did manage to coordinate with some of the other items that caught my eye.

I think they came out perfect!
So did the birthday girl!

Let's Celebrate!

Lots of celebrations!

Birthday for two clever boys who picked the theme of
HOT SAUCE and MUSTACHES

For a MOM who is also a photographer!

For some fabulous teachers!
Endless hours of dedication.

These. Were. Fun!
Look at the purple EVIL Minion.

Some FuNkY bugs for a great gal!

Pink and green.
My favorite color combo!

All things GIRLIE!

Catching Up

This time of year is really busy!
Just wanted to catch up!

For Alexa who is now 18!
Wow!
(Loving the "pop" that the airbrush technique adds!)

These were for some youth girls who are incarcerated.
They are in juvenile detention for various reasons,
but mostly the lack of guidance and LOVE.

The simple rosettes are my favorite right now.
Simple.
Feminine.
And you can use just about any color combination.

Oh my PIGS!
These were for a group of gals who raise pigs for the county fair.
One of the pigs won GRAND PRIZE!
I really LOVED creating these!
I almost felt like the pigs were chattin' with me!

These. Were. FUN!
She loves Disney, Mickey Mouse, and she's graduating!

A Million Dollars

If I won a million dollars,
I'd donate a BIG chunk to an elephant sanctuary.

Out the Door

This is what a created this week.
Such a variety.

These were for a baby boy shower.
I created cookies for his mom and dads wedding last year at this time.
Sweet!

These are for a little ROCK STAR turning 6.

These were donated to an event called
Beautiful You.
It's an event for women who have been through
the nasty battle of cancer and some who are still fighting.

The chosen women are given a make-over day with all the pampering!
Hair.
Make-up.
Wigs if needed.
Food.
Then a professional photo shoot.

Sometimes in the midst of their battle, they forget how beautiful they truly are.
So glad I could donate to this event again this year.

Ooh La La

For a girlie-girl turning 13.

This set would not have been possible without a KopyKake.
For those of you who don't know what a KopyKake is--
it is just like an overhead projector
only it project an image down on the cookie so I can "copy" the image I want
instead of trying to draw it freehand (with icing).
LOVE my KopyKake

Let's Skate!

When I was young (4th grade)
I was a great roller skater!

Now that I'm NOT SO YOUNG,
I wish I were a great skater.
I secretly want to buy some roller skates and give it a try.
But I'd be afraid to go skating in my neighborhood--
I don't want my neighbors to think I'm nuts!

This cutter can be purchased at Truly Mad Plastics
They make custom cookie cutters!
If you can think it, they can create it!

Spring Garden

This week was like a "spring garden".
I had a variety of orders to do, each one unique.
Wedding.
Teen birthday.
Celebration of life.
Baby shower x 2.
I think ALL of my creative needs were met this week.
Have I told you how much I LOVE my job?
I do.
