I remember when I was about 7 or 8 years old, 

My third grade teacher taught us about

Red

Orange

Yellow

Green 

Blue
Indigo (I skipped this one on the cookies!)

Violet

I would draw rainbows on everything!

I still really love rainbows!

When my daughter asked if I could make rainbow cookies for her teachers--

my heart skipped a beat!

My goal was to make "imperfect", "kid drawn" rainbows-
